Yes, I am a World of Warcraft addict. I am not ashamed to say that I would cheerfully spend all day every day playing that game. It draws you in with content that just never ends. I guess it doesn't help that I met my significant-other in-game. If it were not for a certain amount of restraint, I might have made all my online presence pages all about WoW too. I guess you guys can count yourselves lucky that I DO have that restraint.
Currently attending CTUOnline(Colorado Technical University Online), I am completing an Associates Degree in IT, with a view to continue on to completing the BSIT i.e. Bachelor's of Science in IT. At first I thought I'd do the concentration in network management, but not I am not so sure. I have plenty of time to choose tho, so I'm not really worried. No longer attending college. Considering I was soon to be married and migrating, I quit college with the intention of picking it back up in the medium to long term. No updates on that aspect of the fyr yet.
This wiki is supposed to serve as an organization tool for my thoughts, my schoolwork and other random pieces of information. Maybe even my blog at some point. Not sure yet. Right now, the focus is on school. I also have a small collection of recipes (of which I have not yet imported the text for as at Aug 21st) as well as some of my poetry and other musings. I suspect WoW will creep in here somewhere too.
I got married on August 23, 2008 to the most wonderful man that ever lived. Just before we got married, I gave up my job in Kingston, Jamaica to help him get settled in his new home, that would eventually become OUR new home. Of course, as luck would have it, as soon as we WERE married, we were told we had to move since the house he was in was slated for singles and not couples. No matter, we managed to clear out of the old house and into this new one in record time. It hasn't been an easy year and it gets harder day by day, but I am happy and content.
As of this day, November 28, 2008 - I haven't worked in almost 12 months and I feel rusty. This revival of the wiki is an attempt to get my mind working again in the manner to which it was accustomed. So far, so good actually. I have spent the last 5 hours on it and I think I have not only had loads of fun, but I've learned a few things and refreshed a few things. I actually had to re-install the whole site because there were some errors that I just couldn't figure out the cause or the remedy and so if you had visited before, you will notice quite a change in the formatting and look.
This is an ever-growing work in progress - so bear with me while I delve into some of the more creative aspects of the .: fyr :.
